How We Do It

A successful baseball or stadium project is a team effort that should involve all segments of the community in open, transparent communication and participation. We bring expertise in design, code compliance, purchasing, contracting, construction, financing, and operations.

We work closely with community and business leaders, beginning with the earliest design sessions, to ensure our projects represent the character of their communities - and achieve the community objectives of quality of life and economic development benefits.

ODP has developed several signature programs to achieve affordable family entertainment and community objectives. We are innovators in ballpark features that are customer-service oriented, permit wide use of the venue, and enhance fan experiences.

ODP is an industry leader in community-wide programs such as free "FanFests" and "Name the Team" contests to encourage community participation and solicit broad input during early stages. And we maintain these lines of communication through on-going community meetings and neighborhood open houses.

A Few Partners

Opening Day Partners has been a leader in Minor League Baseball since 1982. Our expertise has been the driving force in the design, development and financing of ballparks and franchises across the United States. ODP has designed, financed, constructed and operated more minor league ballparks than any other organization in professional baseball.

ODP is perhaps best known for pioneering the concept of the modern, fan-friendly, community-owned ballpark that are enjoyed on a year-round basis by all segments of the community. Our award winning ballparks are able to host year-round activities including job fairs, conferences and meetings, football, soccer, lacrosse, major concerts, band and cheerleading competitions, scout jamborees, winter carnivals and more. You do not have to be a baseball fan to have a great time at the ballpark!

ODP has applied this same expertise to projects as varied as Spring Training Venues, Soccer Stadiums, Ice Rinks, and

Baseball/Softball Complexes.
